    That's an awesome painting dude!

I think Ari and I are buying a WRX next year, if not, once my FJ is paid off, I might get an old WRX wagon and have fun with it

Cupcake drove a 96 manual when I met her. First few weeks with the Rav4 auto and she was stomping around looking for the clutch.

Nice RX-7 Zach. I agree about the S2000. Now that my kid got his license he has been saying he want's a Miata. I have been telling him he can keep the Miata I want a S2000

The FJ is my first auto. I don't mind it as much add I thought I would, and I still have the 92 yota to row gears in.

<<< Always wanted one of these with a 4 speed. A 2800 stall converter, shift kit and gears make good times for this a/t. Guess I'll have to suck it up and live with it.
Last cool stick car I had was my '64 Goat. Used to get sore knuckles hitting the dash while banging 3rd with that stick in the mud M-21 Muncie.

For about a year both my Mom and I had the same car (1990 Accord), mine was a 5MT, hers was a 4AT, I can't tell you how confusing that was when I kept going back and forth, or I'd throw hers into a corner thinking it was my car (I had wide, sticky tires and an adjustable suspension, she had pneumatic tires, black, and well, suspension) and I'd be in full panel mode hoping the tires would hold.

That is absolutely beautiful, and I'm not even an RX-7 guy. I think if it came with some sort of removable roof, I'd like it so much more. Hold on to that, I'm sure it will be worth big $$$ in the future.

I've been lucky enough to have driven both, an NC Miata and an AP1 S2000 and honestly, I don't know which I would choose. There's something...fantastical about htting 8,900 RPM in 2nd gear, but the Miata had hands down the BEST manaul shifter i've ever come across. I was allowed to auto-x one years ago at a Mazda event and I truly felt like I was driving a big go-kart.

In both new and used cases, I really think there are better options for the money that are more fun. I haven't driven a 15+ WRX yet, but I have driven a 2011 hatch and I thought the focus ST was a lot more fun to drive. The older WRX are fun, sure, but at this point they're all starting to show their age. If you go that route, compression testa nd leakdown are key obxviously. The rear strut towers on the GD wagons are a weak point and should be checked.

Miata would be both the best and worst first car ever. Are you going to be the parent that gives your kid a list of vehciles they can't buy? I got one of those. I'm still sad about the Scirocco I was stupposed to get for free from my cousin that I wasn't allowed to take and that beautiful black on black sunroofed 5MT DA Integra that was "too small" per my Mom and I wasn't allowed at the time to get a manual trans. The irony was that I ended up with one anyways, but that's another story.

On an unrelated side note, I finally got to the bottom of my driveline noise. It ended up being tire noise of all things. So strange because I swore it was driveline, but my winter tiers went on last night for a quick test and the noise was gone.

I am not the parent saying he couldn't get a type of car but I do know what it costs and he can't afford the insurance right now for his car to be sporty.

I had a black on black 83 Scirocco. It was my favorite car I have ever owned. Mine was just like this one but I didn't have the euro headlamps

The new 15+ is really amazing. The 2.0 in the WRX has an awesome powerband and rides like nothing else. It's a driving machine!
    And glittery t-shirts
