    I was curious about full plastidip vs trails because the wife and I are getting our trucks done in December at addiption for 999 and this is what I found. Interesting stuff

    The problem with dip is it starts looking real dirty after a few months. I have a friend who is addicted to that stuff. He dips his car just about every 6 months and it looks ratty by month 4-5. Local company in Tampa does it. I'll find out who.

    it does get pretty muddy and stays that way but that is because it isn't done right. I imagine if you get it done professionally, the mud would come out easy

    I didn't even look into the wear pictures, everyone has white trucks so I was going to do an od green, maybe it could be maintained? Or does he clean it often

    Ya wasn't sure if they do it differently. Ik there are lots of way to apply it etc. Some people clear coat it to make it last.

    The white was the worst. He currently has a red and it seems to of lasted better. But this is on a DD car not a 4x4.

    I've seen people just use clear dip. Usually lasts better.

    I don't go offrosd enough or have a reason for a trucj anymore. If I wanna get a boat again, the cars I would own could tow it just fine lol

    Well I suppose I'll have to make it happen then lol I have a base white V6 4x4 with the black flares and door handles and all that so I'll have green everywhere white, is then contrast it with black flares and handles and all that.
    Then the wife @Tisa4runner14 wants to do hers in matte black and purple accents lol

    He has it done by dipngoautocolor.com. It looks really good right after its done, just doesn't last long enough.

    Just read up on what they're calling "liquid wrap". Maybe this stuff will last longer, haven't heard or seen it before.
