    That is pretty scarey to see.

    I rather have them inside some wear house so they wont get affected by the harsh environments.

    So thats 16 frames x $13k per truck = $208 000

    Ummm......no not really, OK yes surface rust maybe but the issue is the salt/chloride used on the roads in cold weather climates that causes scale, holes, etc that are the cause. I doubt a salt truck is going to dump it's load on a stack of frames behind a dealership.

    Yes the dealership down the road from me in Northern VT. This was just the top lot. It was packed! Pretty sad.
    A few guys on here when TW first started had the buy back take their truck to the crusher. I took this pic in 2008.

    True but I expect the frame to be rust free once it's installed. I'm OCD and I expect something to be perfect or pretty close to perfect. Who knows, those frames could be sitting there for years.
