I've been really liking the idea of a simple DD, and a 1st gen or something older for a dedicated toy.. or keep mine until its paid off, use it as the toy, then get a DD..

driving Q's truck these couple days planted the seed.. shit.. I just want Q's truck! :D

Quintin.. your truck and trailer plus cash for my truck?? :D lol

Do it! Get a comfy dd and an extended cab 4x4 first gen, doesn't get much better unless you wanna add another toy to go fast or blow a ton of $ to make the first gen go fast in the dez

probably keep my truck, pay it off, get a razr (that was the original plan), the truck can pull that no problem, then get a 1st gen or pickup to crawl/expo, and the truck can pull that too if needed.

Your truck, razr, 1st gen, and a 4runner would be a nice set up....

The truck didn't start out as a Raptor. It sounds like it started out as a F-150 ecoboost and they did a Raptor conversion. Usually that entails swapping out the frame to a Raptor frame (I'm guessing that's why it's a salvage title), suspension, front end, and bedsides. I know SDHQ was the first to do an ecoboost Raptor and they've done other conversions for some customers. Here's a video from the OG Ecoboost Raptor. they also talk about the differences between the Raptor and Ecoboost Raptor.

Yep currently have F-250 diesel as DD/tow vehicle, CJ5 for off road, will prob get a car in a couple years for DD and then use the diesel just as a tow rig.

Its probably a salvaged title because it was in a wreck which is why it got the raptor conversion. Swapping Frames does not salvage the title. Speaking of which tho ours is for sale, nicer interior than this one, lower miles, legit raptor frame and 22k in aftermarket parts for $40k which seems like a steal next to this thing.

Got some @kbvoodoo bed bars and stole my wife's Yakima load warrior. Needed more storage space when I go to the cabin.

really happy with the bed bars. I was able to sit in the Yakima and didn't feel that it would break, but I wouldn't do it again.
