I would go nuts if I had a vehicle with BSM that beeped every time a car went in and out of my blind spot.

The new limiteds have the option for a trunk lip instead of a wing. Makes the car look a lot better IMHO.

My STI has the BSM but I can turn it on or off and it doesn't beep at you. When on theres a little indicator that lights on the mirror (driver or passenger depending on there the car is), you see it out of the corner of your eye. After a few days with it you become used to it and find it isn't as annoying as you thought it would be.

I loved everything about the Tacoma I drove except for the power. My 13 year old Tacoma has substantially more power from a dead stop. Way less power at highway speeds but they could have engineered it to be like the 3.4 liter engine, which was actually designed to be a truck engine. I can't fully blame Toyota though. They are under ever-increasing EPA constraints.

I wouldn't imagine it would be hard to make your own mod to make the truck beep or bark at you for the blind spot monitor. Just find this wires in the harness and install a horn or speaker. But I do agree, in 2016 it should have come with it.

The hood scoop is kinda hard to see over. It is a lot higher than the second gen I drive.
I have to say I disagree about steering.
To me it was very tight and responsive.

I thought there same thing. Press the ECT button and the truck became awesome. Night and day difference.

It only sounds when a car is in your blind spot AND you are giving your turn signal. When there just happens to be a car in your blind spot it just lights up.

Family owns a 2015 4R trail edition with KDSS suspension.
I rode in the 2016 Taco Sports, loved it. felt solid, smooth. Just like our 2015 4R trail KDSS.

So then your experience is not relevant to mine as the one I drove had a moon roof. The ceiling height is lower with the moon roof.

So the interior of the roof is lowered 6" due to the sunroof? Holy crap.

I imagine that it really isn't that hard to learn how to drive. You shouldn't have a driver's license if you don't know how to turn your head and check before you change lanes or make a turn. For that to make it on the list of reasons not to buy a car I find astounding. Is he also going to be upset when he find cruise control isn't autopilot?

My mom's new Subaru beeps over every little thing that happens around the car. When I drive in it I want to take it off a MFing cliff. :annoyed:

All bolt ons + tuning solution. Capable of running high 13's.
For all those that complain about lack of power.
Because you have to floor it more doesn't mean it lacks power.
It means that the throttle body map is very conservative.

A gas pedal that is pushed only 25% down doesn't necessarily mean that the throttle body is 25% open.
    Specially with the ECT off.

@PackCon my wife's Forester is like that with the Eyesight system. I turn that thing off as soon as I get in the car.
