It was Stephen Harper who said the Canadian Auto Industry in Ontario is not going to like the TP Agreement, I do know what I am talking about.

As far as the TPP agreement is concerned, it's a must do. We trade to survive if no one has noticed. Canada isn't exactly a huge market. Free trade in general benefits Canada when it gets us better access to more markets. It'll be interesting to see the REAL TPP agreement once it is released.

 

Yes and he is right. Obama did the side deal and got caught. Harper had a lot of it amended but not all. Harper is not happy with all of the agreement but that is what you get when you do a deal. You get some of what you want but not all. Had Harper not gone along with it the parts manufacturing would have totally disappeared. Don't sign it and Obama would have had no reason to change the deal he agreed to with the Far East. We don't live in a vacuum. Obama was quite prepared to tear up the N.A. Free Trade Agreement. FYI Mexico walked out of the meetings as well and signed on only after the amendments were made. Nice to have friends like Obama. Your Mulcair would not have signed it and watched all of the parts manufacturing disappear. Typical leftist thinking IMHO.
