    Looks awesome.
Don't let them put that front plate holder on...You're not in Kalifornia where they like to do that sort of thing. Not familiar with the laws in Tejas.

I tell them I won't accept delivery with the front plate holder/holes and that I will affix the plate myself.

This is 2014. $40k mid-size pickups are the new norm unfortunately.

Am I the only one that said eww when they first seen quicksand but now are heavily considering it as their color choice? This color has grown on me a lot !

Not everyone pays attention. But people in Tacos or other trucks, and 4 runners fjs give a glance. A few have stared for a but. It would catch my attention. Was looking to get a '15 MGM or, saw this and both wife and I wanted the color, with the black trim.

Same here. It was enough that I changed my order a week later from Black to Quicksand.

No, you are not the only one.

    Me: I demand Silver!
    Dealer: We can get Silver.
    (four hours later)
Dealer: That Silver was already sold.
Dealer: I've got Blue, Black and, um, something called Sandstorm coming.
    Me: Lemme check.
    (four minutes later)
    Me: I demand Quicksand!

Nope, I felt the same way.... I believe Toyota knows more about design than the average guy, hahaha. When I first saw the "predator" looking front-end of the 4R I was like "what the hell," now I absolutely love it. Same thing with Quicksand and the 3rd Gens in general....at first I was all mixed up (still am to an extent), but now Toyota has me thinking every other truck on the road is boring, same old same old.
