My dog nips at it kinda like he's trying to herd it...but we don't think he's a herding breed which explains why he's so bad at it lol

My dogs are so used to it they just look at me funny when I try to move them to vacuum under them. The big dogs I'll have to poke a few times with it before they move.

Now for some reason my pressure washer makes my 2 big dogs go ape shit!

After she detoxed all night, back to herself!

Clarify, fortunately she doesn't eat actual crap/feces. Just leaves, grass, twigs, mushrooms (likely culprit) dead/alive insects or animals, etc haha

It's funny you said that cuz my border collie and Australian Shepard both herd sheep cattle and ducks at the ranch.

Yea he was there to herd the cattle. But being a herding dog, the more moving things to herd the better.

    Dogs are awesome and funny.
Mine is alpha badass. will stand down any live animal she confronts. but a twig sticking out of the ground that catches her tail on the run will make her crazy. she gets the "zoomies".:goingcrazy:
And mine gets hyper if she doesn't get the chance to run/work. She wants to hunt. always chasing birds and squirrels and always with her nose to the ground.

If you're dogs are eating stuff off the ground, you need to work on "leave it". It's probably the single best thing you can do for your pup. Once you get that down, you should consider aversion training for things they might pickup from the ground-some argue this doesn't work. Not sure but between "leave it" and aversion, you'll have a much better chance of not picking stuff up.

Agree totally with this. My dogs have always done well with "leave it", unless it was a new smell in the woods then they often would ignore me and tackle it with gusto. My youngest has been collar conditioned for several months now and is very sensitive, only a light L3 nick is enough to make him leave it when he ignores me. At least so far. Problem is there are so many different things out there and dogs are so situational that it takes some time for it to be effective. My dogs sit when I feed them and I make them wait before giving food or treats but you would never know it when they are running in the woods and stumble across something of interest.
