So far the setup is very versatile. I have storage issues in my garage and can't store a full bed rack (even though I really do like the All-pro bed racks). I found the Relentless Fabrication bed bars and they are very well made and when I don't have a trip planned I can easily remove them then and they don't take up much room in the garage. When they are on the truck I've been able to stack storage bins above the bed height between the bars and under the cargo net. There might be a RTT in the future on these bars, still debating if I'm gonna use enough to justify getting one. I was also thinking possibly softopper or snugtop.

How's do you like your softtop setup?

Yeah I am still debating between a hard shell, bed bars like yours or a full taller cab height setup with RTT. I have loved my soft topper. It was a custom piece made by a guy who isnt on here anymore I believe. It is tubed framed on the inside but bolted together not welded. I got it for like $200 so it was a steal to test out and figure if I wanted something higher or more permanent. It has held up in all these rains and winds. The only drawback has been the black canvas in this SC heat and the glue used on the side of the bars where the canvas attaches from the heat as well. It is also a little harder to get on and off by myself than an actual softtopper. If I stay canvas I will upgrade the cover to a coyote tan or urban grey marine grade material to do better in the heat. Also I cannot attach an RTT to the bars with the canvas in place and keep it water proof and looking right. I can also only sleep two in the DCSB so taking the whole family is gonna require an RTT or base camp setup and just use the truck for storage and transport. Honestly being from the NW originally I see the need to have more waterproof options like the hard top eventually when funds permit. Im headed to Korea for 2 years here soon so i can save up for mods but have to store the truck for a while at my dads. Depending on where i go when i return will kinda decide the next course of action and availablity of trips outdoors. Sliders, skids and front bumper are already in line so the shell might have to wait until this one gives out or I shorten the bars and make it like yours.

Sounds like you got a killer deal on your canvas setup. Wishing you a great journey to Korea!!

Do you wheel at all ever? I've been wondering about the icon rear shocks with the All-Pro standard leaf pack. From doing a little bit of research it seems like if I got that set up and went out wheeling I could potentially overextend the shocks and ruin them

I go out a couple times a month and never had any problems with this setup. If you can shoot me some data on that, I'd be interested to learn more about it.

If you find the thread about icon rear shocks paired with the Dakar leaf pack there is a lot of good information in there. A lot of people are saying that if you want to run a set up like that you need to get custom made extended travel icons Because then standard icons don't have enough travel to accommodate a leaf pack like that.

Do you flex your suspension a lot when you were out wheeling or are you mainly just on like dirt trails?
