I'm sick. My three month old truck was hit in my work parking lot. Here are some pictures of the damage. I have a video from our surveillance -https://youtu.be/pFfGC6mcyTc

Please tell me what I need to be concerned about. I am as particular as they come when it comes to my truck being perfect. After seeing how far the truck rocks back I am worried about damage beyond exterior/cosmetic. Could there be drivetrain or suspension issues?

    I can't believe it...

She did leave her information. She happens to be an insurance agent for American Family.

Body substructure would be the only worry but I looks like the impact was minimal.

Agreed. These trucks are tougher than that.

There's an aluminum brace that's designed as the weakest point... if there's any damage, that brace took it... I'd say a new bumper and fender and you'll have a new truck again.

Maybe you can get a steel bumper out of this.

I did think about two things.
How hard will it be to match the paint color?
Can I upgrade my front bumper and what would be the best one to get?

Sorry for your misfortune, but please, make up your mind.

If you are a perfectionist you'll never go offroad. If you never go off road, and you move up to an armor style bumper, you'll just be another poseur. (I think they call them mall crawlers here)

Let your adjuster work it out. Find a body shop with a great reputation (hot rods/customs/sports cars isn't a bad start) and when they are done you should never know that little love tap happened.

Very cool it's all on video though!

Damn, almost looks like she just drove in that parking lot to purposefully hit your truck lol

I am in the process of making up my mind and appreciate your help. Even if I don't go stump jumpin I still wouldn't mind having a stronger bumper - for such an instance as this. There must be upgrades that aren't full-on armor isn't there?

Thought the same thing. She lives a couple hours away and I have never met her or I would believe it too!

Not that I'm aware of? Bull bars don't count, they make things worse in most cases.

Someone around here will correct me if I'm wrong though, and offer up pics.
