So this is the same bumper from the accident still on my truck. (The bottom brackets for the small plastic pieces under the headlights aren't back on yet) We are just waiting on the new bumper to come in.... still can't believe it withstood the amount of force from two cows.. Sending prayers out to all those involved in the other accidents posted....

An update to the head on collision I posted a pic of earlier:

Honolulu police say distracted driving lead to the collision on the North Shore Saturday, and a Honolulu firefighter who was injured is still hospitalized in critical condition Sunday night.

Honolulu firefighters confirmed that one of the seven people hospitalized after a traffic accident near Haleiwa is an off-duty firefighter.

Police closed all lanes of Kamehameha Highway, between Paalaa Uka Pupukea Road and Kaukonahua Road, following the collision.

Honolulu police report that at 12:48 p.m., a Safety Systems flat-bed truck traveling south on the highway through the coffee fields near Haleiwa town crossed a double-solid yellow line and hit a pick-up truck that was driven by the firefighter.

The flat-bed truck driver could not regain control and collided with a third car travelling north. This third car contained five adults and an infant.

Police say the driver of the flat-bed is in his 20s and suffered minor injuries.

The off-duty firefighter is in his 40s and suffered head trauma and broken bones. He was taken in critical condition to the Queen’s Medical Center. Honolulu firefighters tell KHON2 that they have visited him and the department is hoping for a speedy recovery.

The driver and a passenger in the third car were also taken to the hospital in critical condition. The baby was not hurt.

Firefighters had to use the “jaws of life” to extract the occupants of the vehicles.

All of them were taken away in multiple ambulances.

Oh ill definetly be getting one. Lol that was only half the reason. Other half is me (and most likely many others) wanting to see the pics.

I may be different but I'm rather happy when I don't have to view destructive pics of plate bumper impacts. Maybe the fact that people not posting or bumping this thread is actually a good thing? My $.02 of course.

He probably doesn't realize that you can, yourself censor what you look at.

And it doesn't take a government agency to do it for you!

I don't have any pics but the county fire marshal has a 05-06 F-250 with an ARB front bumper outfitted for his services (Lights, siren radio antennas), he responded to a fire one day along with the FD and when the pump truck was leaving the scene his corner clipped the drivers side of the bumper, it lightly dented the tube and pushed the truck sideways until the bumper cleared the truck.

Pretty impressed with the lack of damage.
