Finally arrived. I love it (100 miles in). Offroad, with premium and tech packages with JBL. Using a broker, 36,733 OTD plus tax (38,963 MSRP - with mats, still protector, and tube steps which I promptly took off)

I agree with most of the comments here. My particular focus items:
    1) Unbelievable quiet. Wow
    2) Headroom is a bit tight.
    3) Seats are comfortable, surprised I'm OK with cloth
    4) I like the projector beam headlights
    5) Way smoother driving than I thought a truck would be.
    6) Definitely a lot of downshifting/up shifting, more than I'm used to. Doesn't bother me a bit
    7) Magnetic gray, yep, I picked the right color

36,733 OTD? must be nice... hard to believe that using a USAA truecar search only gets me $600 off MSRP, not counting military $500 rebate... If I was not dead set on Inferno color I bet I could get a better price. but I want that color :/

36,733 OTD plus tax. I got a similar deal, on pretty much the same truck, from Gatorland Toyota in Gainesville, FL. A bit of a drive from home, but worth it for the savings compared to other dealers in central/north FL. It did take a bit of research and some chatter between a couple dealerships though. Can't wait for the truck to get built and arrive though! Congrats AlanKA!

I've been told by friends that this is the only way to go. Now I'm a believer. Friend just told me to contact Ryan at milehighcarhelper.com. One phone call........then 2 months later I've sold two cars through him, and purchased this new Tacoma. Saved $1000s. I thought auto brokers were a scam, much like mortgage brokers that just add fees and save you nothing. not true!

It looks like the TRD OR has everything the Sport has except the color matched fenders and the hood. If you get the tech package it even has the color matched bumper. Almost makes it worthwhile to get the OR. However my offroading is minimal and will likely be limited to only when it snows here. MTS would be nice to have for that but I doubt I would ever need any of the other features.

South eastern dealers get $1000 off. I have no idea why. I'm guessing that they don't sell as much.
