    Burning it would lead to the same emissions problems we have now minus the CO2 of course. Using a fuel cell yields nothing but water because not enough heat is formed from the reaction to cause the other emissions that are formed from the air in an internal combustion engine.

    So this is kinda of a BIG + IMO. Pelfreybuilt just released this for the new T4R. As you can see this really changes the look and imo in a GOOD way!! They have confirmed they are working on this for the Gen 3 Tacos as we speak!!

    The production of the hydrogen is too energy intensive and uses fossil fuels. So, for right now, it doesn't make any more sense to do that over just burning fossil fuels. Maybe eventually we can harness enough renewable energy or nuclear power to produce clean hydrogen from water at a scale to make it worth while, but for now that's mainly a pipe dream. Gasoline has 42.4 MJ/kg of energy and Hydrogen has 142 MJ/kg when combusted, but the Hydrogen must be stored under extreme compression because it's energy density is very low per cubic inch until you reach about 3000 PSI.

    Natural gas gets about 55.5 MJ/kg. It's also far more dense than Hydrogen at the same PSI and you don't have to do anything else other than haul it out of the ground to use it. That's why there is some push towards natural gas being a stop gap fuel for heavy trucks and buses until another technology is available. Natural gas actually has more energy per kg than Diesel.

    That looks good! I'm probably gonna do a custom grille on my SR5. If anyone is interested in doing this mod I'll probably throw up my OEM SR5 grille for $300

    My 1st gen was a SR5, and I first said that I was going to just buy another SR5 to save money and add my own locker. But to prevent having buyers remorse I am going to get a fully loaded OR this time around.

    has anyone noted whether minor things like floor mats have changed shape from late model 2nd gen to 3rd? or seat covers? aka stuff that is generally replaced/ 'fixed' immediately upon purchase of new vehicle.

    Traded my 2012 sport for the 16
    BFG K2. Got a smoking deal on them. Il happy. Not going all crazy like I did with my 12. Going to do a few minor mods but keep it simple. I honestly love the truck. It's so much smoother than my 2012. Also it's dead quiet inside. The cons our the removal of storage comps. The 2 above each wheele wells are gone as well as the little one inside behind the ignition. Overall I fucking live it. Can't wait to go wheeling.

    Truck looks awesome. Just curious but how much did they give you for the stock tires? I'm waiting for a black TRD sport double cab with TRD upgrade.
    I will be changing the tires out right away to BFG All terrains. Thanks for posting the pic, now I really can't wait!

    Those little storage cubbies above the wheel wells in the bed have been gone since 2014 or so. I don't miss them.
    The little cubbie in the dash right of the ignition I would miss...I keep my wallet in there.
