A month or two ago, I had an issue with the electrical wiring under the glove compartment ( i mistakenly cut a few wires :(). I took it to get serviced and fixed my issues with the wiring. But, I've noticed that i am just about due for an oil change but no "maintenance required light" has illuminated yet. I know, this is a pretty stupid thing, but i was just curious to see what anyone thought. Thanks

If the battery was disco'ed, it may have reset the maint. reminder.

Are you considering being 'just about due' at 3000 miles or 5000 miles? It starts blinking at 4500miles, stays solid at 5000miles since last reset.
