We had 5 (Me, J, Grandma and pa, kid in infant seat) very comfortably in there for a wine country trip a few weeks ago. I don't see the problem.

But since you're snipping your aquamen conveyance system soon, this should be of little concern to you.

    Lol'd.

Honestly, I do think I know why they did that. The under-seat space is actually taken up by the driveshaft, it looks like, perhaps to increase ground clearance. I don't know why they built the cab up into it though, still coulda left some room. As for behind the seat, notice that angle the seat sits, where the top is touching the cab wall. They're probably just utilizing that distance created by the angle with storage bins but FFS I still think I could redesign it and be better.

I have entertained the idea of stripping the back seat out completely, cutting up that raised section and replacing it with flat plate as well as some smaller seats... Have more leg room and more storage room. Maybe when I'm not broke as shit

I made a point of asking them, they were all fine. They are not big people, but they were comfortable.

When it is just J and me with the kid, she sits in the back passnger side and I fold down the front passenger seat into table mode. Neat feature. Makes her feel less isolated, can tend to the kid en route, and it makes a nice shitty diaper management platform.

You wouldn't have that feature with a TRD

    Yeah, DCLB non Sport...

Didn't even know about the feature until the dealer showed me. And that hard plastic shell is great future armor against kicking kids feet LOL.

Well don't take it personally, Tiger. My inboxes at work and home are smoking holes of despair.

It's hard to disagree. I'm certainly a few days closer to death.

I need to go drink beer and eat slow-cooked ribs now.
