I will order up the Phillips LED fogs this week. They are very expensive $150 unfortunately.

Yeah I had problems with cheap stuff too. I had terrible experiences honestly and I saw many friends get cheap stuff because they had life time warranty and they would fail within 1 year and the companies would end up not honoring the warranty.

Unfortunately the cost is high but it is a good system with great output if you're willing to spend the money.

I've run TRS in multiple vehicles. Very high quality products. Not that $20 eBay crap

The Tacoma projector will not handle 50w would not recommend 50w unless you have a big high quality projector like the 3" Acura TL projectors.

What about it won't handle 50w? You don't use stock wiring and HIDs create less heat than halogens...the Acura TL projectors are bi xenon which is probably why they're bigger

I had to search to find it online. So for the TRD and up models, low beams and fogs are the same bulb type and wattage. Interesting

It looks like the Canadian Model is coming with LED Brake Lights etc., if that is the case, one problem is solved for me.

Will post pictures once I pick up my Limited this weekend...

I believe the bowls in smaller projectors can burn. HIDs also emit UV so it could be a combination of more heat and UV. I'm not an expert but I'm just sharing information I've found over the years. But I guess we'll never know until people start doing it. Just thought I'd share the warning.

I know some of the cheap aftermarket projectors have warnings on them not to use HID bulbs, but from my understanding it was the wiring that would burn up during the initial firing of the HID bulb, after that the draw is lower. I've also noticed my HIDs are significantly cooler running than halogens ever are. Both from the actual light transmission and the lens itself. Those are just my observations, nothing actually proven

I have used DDMTuning HIDs in all of my cars. My GF had them in her 2013 Camry before I replaced them with LEDs. I have never had a problem with DDMTuning HIDs and their pricing is fantastic.

I have LEDs for the fogs and headlights waiting and I have DDMTuning interior LEDs waiting for when the truck comes in.
