I ran the same setup for a few years. It actually did pretty well. I mostly did it because I already had the springs so I figured I wasn't out anything and kinda wanted to see how it would do. The springs were a few years old when I did the 12" shackles and after 2 years with the 12" shackles the springs were junk. We set it up so it was an easy transition to my E30's. Just had to move the front hangers and perches.

Anyhow more pics and info in my build thread.

16"s. Springs wear out so I figured I was going to have to replace them down the road. I wanted to leave all my options open so I went with the 16"s. I still have the same rear shock setup with the E30's.

Interesting. So basically you run a 12" shackle but the front mount if the shackle is much further forward from stock. So that at bump the leafs are like stock but you gain a shit load of droop?

    I like it

For those that needed fuel doors on their glass bedsides, what did you guys use? The cheap billet ones you get off Amazon?

and about the missallignment spacers, i used vice grips, and on some i had to use penetrating oil and a flat head screw driver and a hammer and put the screwdriver in the hole and ran it around the lip with a hammer slightly.

they are in there pretty snug lol dont want to F them up either. was gonna put my bypasses on while i had a little time. was gonna use the ones from the smoothies but either way id still have to get some cause one shock wouldnt have them. i tried to call the local desert rat and 4wheelparts and even went in to show them exactly what i need and they looked at me like i was stupid. shops in new mexico are douche bags anyway so i wasn't surprised lol
