Had mine for a while, forgot to post. These are the second set of wheels I've had on my truck. Could not be any happier with the look!!

Yup. Haven't had a chance to off road with them yet but so far they've been worth it. Gives me a piece of mind in the parking lot knowing someone carelessly opening the door is most likely going to hit the sliders before they hit my door and they're a useful step when trying to reach something in the bed or when deploying my RTT.

Thanks man. Yup, added the powder coating option when I ordered from Jerry.

I'm on 16x8 gunmetals with the stock Rugged Trail tires. Going to stay stock until after Xmas when I can start throwing money at my truck and telling it to grow :D

Yes! I just noticed this today. What would cause this?

Passenger's side tire tread sticks about 1/2" or more past the fender/mud flap. Driver's side is flush with the fender/mud flap.

You'll need to ask Toyota this question. Our 2nd gen Tundra has the same issue and they are notoriously known for this when you add a lift and use aftermarket wheels and tires. The stock wheels are not as noticeable b/c they tuck in the wheel well.

I've brought my truck to Toyota and all wheels are aligned, no problems with axles, wheels or frame. It's likely the bed is slightly off and just a cosmetic issue which many others have come across on this forum. No biggie I left mine alone

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using the 16" wheel vs. the 17" wheel?

Thanks for the info, Vin. I knew it didn't have anything to do with the wheels, was just curious what the reasoning behind the difference was.

Good deal. As long as it's not a twisted frame or something catastrophic I'm not losing sleep over it.
