Thats awesome man! Congrats. I just did my re-torque last night and am loving the Icon suspension on the new truck. You should be really happy with yours!

Jealous of your truck right now. Hate driving a stock vehicle.

Anytime. It's a large rivet on the rear part of the leaf pack. I just started a small pilot hole, and progressively worked my way bigger and bigger until it was gone and I could remove the clamp it was holding on.

Ha ha, I feel your pain. I drove mine stock for a week. Then another week with just the factory tint. Finally got the windows much darker.. Even did limo tint on the sunroof which really helps to diffuse the light.

I did my windshield 70, 35 fronts, and 70 on top of the rear privacy glasses. Came out good.

hey jerry what rivet where you talking about having to drill out on the leaf springs? Got under the truck yesterday to kind of see at what's coming when I lift it. But couldn't really find it or see it. First Tacoma, first time lifting a truck. I'm used to working on cars lol

I am too lazy/busy (oxymoron) to go through all the pages, but has anyone posted up some MPG numbers with Wheels/Tires? (285 w/17" & 16") I am running 295/70/18 with 18" Method NV (Street Wheel) on my Tundra and its a HEAVY combo. Trying to justify giving up the truck of my dreams for Taco (that will eventually be upgraded) to attempt to save on gas. Filling Gertrude every week costs about $400 a month, so technically the pump goes in two holes.

On the rear of the leaf spring, there are two "spring clamps". The one closest to the axle as to be removed, at least for the Icon progressive add a leaf. The end of the longest leaf in that pack sits right where the rivet is, so it's gotta go. Simple task, just something to account for. The rivets are reasonably soft metal, so a good set of drill bits will get the job done. I used a cut off wheel to make a notch in the rivet to prevent the bit from walking, then drilled a small pilot hole and worked my bit sizes up until the rivet head was gone. Ground away any excess rivet material and the new add a leaf bolted right up..
