You wanna' cut some fenders and flares too? I'll pick up the cutoff wheels and the body molding trim this weekend if you say yes.

Sure. I'll do whatever. Long as you have tools and parts. Find a welder and I'll weld too haha

In, as in delivered not installed. I haven't had the time to do that yet. Been doing intramural football and jiujitsu.

Ah, copy. Depending on what Monte wants to do we will either be at the auto hobby shop on base or just five miles south of there. Lift available at the hobby shop, heated garage floor at location two. I'm free Monday through Thursday and if everyone is cool with it we can help do your winch after you get off work. I'd love to get into it on Monday but beggars can't be choosers so I'm waiting for his input.

I didn't get the welder to take care of me this past week but I have a different one that can do it for me next for certain. On Monday I'm going to call a local shop that was a few buck more expensive and see if he can still match that price he quoted me and get the tires and if he says yes then I'll call Discount Tires and cancel my order with them. All said and done I should be rolling on 35's and looking for rub marks by this following weekend.

    In other news...

I'm still digging some stuff out but I'm pretty sure that I have an aftermarket replacement grill and grill surround for 2005-2011 trucks in my garage that I was going to use for my truck but ended up just cutting the factory grill. If any of you are thinking about doing a custom grill but don't want to chop the one already on the truck let me know as I'm planning on listing it as soon as I dig it up and get it photographed.

Just let me know where and what day you guys plan on doing it. I normally work from 730-430 during the week but if you guys are still out at the shop by the time I finish work I'll swing by.

Even with the 1" body lift? I know there will be rubbing and plan to play the song of my people on the front of the firewall. Figuring on cutting cab mount as far back as possible and cutting no less than 2" out of the fenders as well.

Right on. I'll let Monte decide if he wants a lift or not and that will determine our location.

Hmm never done a body lift. But should rub as bad then. Probably only need to take 1-1.5 out of the fenders then.

Lift isn't really needed. But lots of tools is nice..Thursday looks like it could be my best day as I could commit to morning afternoon and evening.

I am thinking about trying to work a trade. My ProComp wheels with Hankook Dynapro ATM 265/75/16 (approx 80-85% tread) for a set of 17" sport wheels and tires. Anyone interested?

Had it done at Weiss Toyota (Where i bought the truck). I think it was only their second one to install, but they had a service tech who supercharged his own do the work. All done well and no issues. Wasn't planning on doing it so soon, but had to pull the trigger with them discontinuing it and wanted to keep it under warranty.

Interesting. I had mine done at Pappas Toyota and they brought in the head Toyota Regional tech to do the install because according to Toyota, no one in the region had ever supercharged a 2nd gen. I thought that seemed impossible.
