Gobi for the fucking win. They're expensive but they have the highest weight rating IIRC. Think it's 300 lbs. I'm waiting on the Prinsu rack to be released.

 

I was talking to Tyler Pelfrey to see if he could come up with a ladder for the front runner slimline

 

The only thing I don't like about it is how the ladder attaches at the top. I guess it's not too bad. Hundreds of people are running it with no problem but I'd like to see a better design for the top mounting.

 

You could use the same ladder. It doesn't attach to the rack. Only to the hatch. Did you get a Runner after all?

Do you have or know of any pictures of how it's mounted?

 

Here's the install instructions. After looking at them again, it appears as if the top plate does wrap around the metal. I thought it was just a flat plate that was only held on by double sided tape.

TE. TEP was too much to justify it. I can always add leather later but gonna get wet okoles for the time being

 

5th gen 4 runners!!! I started the movement around here and glad to see more being added.

 

It was too nice to turn down. The dealership let me take out a preinspection Limited by myself hahaha. Thing had 1 miles on it. Didn't even have any of the window stickers yet.
