.....cool.....I don't think I can afford to give up at least 166 pounds of payload capacity to dead weight. I already lost about 150 to the cap.

Oh wait, is it carbon fiber?

Doubtful, Bedslides have like a 1000lb weight rating. An actual 1000lb weight rating, not the same scale as a Toyota 1000lb weight rating

    Lol,
    I'll throw in a free add a leaf :)

No it has some weight to it. The cheaper one has less, but does not feel as sturdy. You could plate it I suppose. My guess would be around 150#s or so.

Oh, and I did throw Dakars on almost immediately after putting this on with my cage and RTT. Stock leafs felt way to soft with all that weight when loaded up. And I did already have a add a leaf with my stock springs, granted it was the stock set up with less leafs from 05.

LOL I know. Payload in these things is precious if camping and towing to Utah and back, let me tell you. Water and booze alone is a killer. I'll be putting Dakars on eventually just for that.

My poor man bedslide for inside the Leer is a garden hoe. Seriously. Works awesome, can reach all the way to the from wall of the bed.

Yea but you can't strap an ARB fridge and full size spare to a garden hoe.

Perhaps, but my ARB is in the trailer on a custom aluminum slide, and the size tires I'll need will still fit under the bed once I take a BFH to the brackets under there.

Looking to trade 4 16x9 moto metals for some tires for 17 inch wheels. I can add cash if needed, getting low on funds though. I am 150 miles north of SF but willing to meet up. uploadfromtaptalk1444969168720.jpg

It's stand-up bar. So I can stand and fish and if I get wobbly I can grab on.

I've been thinking about a kayak for kayak diving. What else can you tell me about it? No rush I wasn't planning on it for a while. But you never know.

That's what I've always wanted to do. Anchor down and dive.

I dive Monastery a lot in Carmel. I love the place but the surface swim on the south end is kind of a drag. I see kayak divers there frequently and I'm always a little jealous.

It wouldn't be good for diving, it's a sit in so I'd bet it would be extremely difficult to get in and out of in the water.
