Wrong Tire PSI?

The PSI for my new 285/75/16 Sport King A/T Tires is 65, is that extremely high, and my tire pressure light flashed and came on today and when I got home I checked the tires, and they were all right at 30 PSI, I just got the tires 2 days ago. Why would, if the tire shop properly inflated the tires, they be at 30 PSI?

 

I can't understand what you are trying to say, but you should look at the tire pressure chart that is on the inside of the door. It should be a white sticker that will give you that information. But what are you trying to say about the shop?

 

you sure? and why would my TPMS light be coming on and flashing before it goes solid? I've got a new spare. but I'm not sure why that would effect it because i've got it in the shed right now. it's a fullsize and won't fit under the truck now.

 

I'd take it in (with the spare) and have them checked out...the tire shop might have broke one.

As chris said before, you NEED to put it back on the truck because the spare has a sensor as well. If the computer cannot read that spare because it's out if distance of the computer receiver. So, put the spare back in and hit the reset button and you should be good to go!

The sticker on the door panel is only for same size replacements to the stock set-up, if you go with something different than stock then you should check what the tire manufacturer of that tire says for that size or do the chalk method that Chris posted.
