Have you looked into how difficult it is to remove the whole grill assembly? I think there was a thread about it recently, but I couldn't find it.

Man this thing looks great, I wonder what it would look like with a white truck. I'm going to try it out this weekend.

Are you going to pastidip it? I was gong to do the same with mine this weekend. It looks like it might be difficult to tape in between the grill bits to get a clean look.

Yeah I'm going to try and plastidip it, but after looking at the grill itself and the diagram it might be a bit tough to get the clean taping done on the remaining chrome parts

Yep, that my concern. There's going to be a lot of intricate taping, and you need to peel fast, or it takes the dip with it, ruining your spray job. Sounds like a pain.

Yeah I'm going to try a couple of test tapings just to see how much I can actually tape to get a clean coat on, worst comes to worst I just black out the whole grill

I'm going to leave it on, there's really no reason to remove it. Put a bit of taped of newspaper on the sides. Any over spray wipes off easy.

Problem with PlastiDip on the front is a rock hit or bug removal can damage the Coating easily. And then it s strip and redo.

This was my plan if I decided to paint it. I want to do just that with the body color
but I may end up leaving the black-chrome mesh look alone.
