Possibility, it is definitely something wrong with Oil/pump pickup system. Maybe somebody forget to put one of the o-rings.
On Old Toyotas were oil pump had outside cover I would suggest checking that, But new pumps are enclosed so nothing to check, only gets new engine at this point.

Ah I may have problem with English but I know when Toyota does screw up oil pump on new truck.

I qualified on Both Fast Attack and Boomers...Fast Attack by far the better duty, especially for Sonar techs, WestPacs more fun than going in circles for 70 days, running from everything that made a little noise, and not having real ownership of the boat as there are two crews. The three month stand downs between patrols weren't bad but if you got on a bad schedule you miss Summers and the Holidays.
