Will the 3 inch all pro work with the rear shocks that I want? I don't want to overextend them or anything while wheeling

I would recommend uniball uppers as well. Also, if the cost isn't much different, get the extended travel

How good are the fab tech uniballs? They're 100 bucks cheaper than the icons

I only read your OP and didn't read any of the responses but I figured I would respond because I have had both. I'll make it simple; the Bilsteins ride very smooth and the OME are a bit stiffer but a lot beefier. Just so you know I live in New England and I would by the OME's again over the Bilsteins

Something *wrong* with the Deaver J59? or the Wheeler's equivalent multileaf if you don't want or need a big lift? (Other than cost!)

Soooo bilsteins for a daily driver, and OME for a daily driver that you go off roading with?

Sure that works. Not that you can't go wheeling with the Billys because you defiantly can but the OME's are just a bigger beefier setup.

Makes sense, I broke my factory left front Bilstein off-roading and all I could immediately find to replace it with was a Monroe, and the Monroe was way beefier looking.

... but there's little in common with factory Bilsteins and 5100s. The 5100 *should* be stiffer and more stout than a Monroe.

Even the Bilstein 4600, which superficially LOOKs like the factory Bilstien TRD shock (yellow/blue) is more stout, a performance monotube for non-lifted trucks.

But whether I get the Bilstein kit or the OME kit it will definitely be better than stock and it will give me about 3 inches of lift?

They will "work" if you just plan on driving on the road. I ruined a set of OME rear shocks because when I would flex the truck they would bottom out. I now have the long travel ones (16-28) but I also have my shackles flipped and then additional leaf in my Leaf pack.

So the long travel ones would work fine for wheeling or I would have to do something additional?

Nothing wrong with them at all. I just think that the all pro and Dakars offer the best two options.

If you do the LT you will need to modify your bump stops so you do not bottom them out.
