Ok i'm trying to find out if my car is messed up or if its normal.

At night the only button on my door panel that lights up is "AUTO" on drivers side window switch.
Mirror control doesn't light up nor does door lock or other window button and on passenger door nothing lights up.

    confirm or dis-confirm...

Confirmed!! I have 2 - 2002 Tacoma xtra cab trucks and I just checked they are both the same. Just the "Auto" lights up.

    DAMMIT!

I was afraid of that. I was actually hoping for a problem.

I wonder if there is someway to hook up a LED light in there that will light them all up...

I noticed it, but didn't think much of it. It is kind of strange, if you're gonna go through the trouble of lighting one up, why not make both light up? and power mirrors, if so equipped (mine's not)

Also, I guess Toyota figures no one would ever need 4WD at night since the 4WD switch doesn't light up!:( Or that no one needs to know for sure if the fog lights are on since nothing lights up on the instrument panel!:(

If you cant find the pass side window button, knowing that it is to the right of the drivers side that is lit, then you are a complete idiot
