To be fair, overall height specs difference between 15 and 16 from Toyota site are approx. 1/2"

Can anyone give me an idea of how fuel economy would change with a 3" lift? I commute 110km a day to work and while I really want a lift, I need to know how it'll change my fuel economy first.

Thanks for the help! I'll be keeping the winters I just bought (stock size), and after winter will be getting new tires for summer. My commute should shorten after winter... But don't know if I want to wait to lift it!

    easily on a 3" lift.

    I've got a 1.5" spacer on my current 2011 running 285/60R18 AT's and nothing
is anywhere close to touching or rubbing.

Had never looked at that size, they look good. Is the mpg any better going down to 255 from stock being that the circumference is larger? It would definitly need the speedo re-calibrated, do you plan on doing that?

    Agreed!

I also never liked the stock wheels that came on the 2011 and they looked even worse
with the small lift, seemed to expose them even more.

    these...hated them

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
OP, you think the truck is sitting an inch higher because the new suspension didn't settle?

I measured my 2016 last night after 480 miles on the OD and came up with the same measurements.

Thinking of doing a 3" spacer lift for now and get a 6" suspension lift later (after manufacture warranty expires)

Anyone have or thinking of throwing on the TRD pro/ Baja lift on their ride? I am thinking if the 2016 sits already 1" higher in the front than a 2015 and the TRD Pro setup provides ~ 1-75-2" of lift that one would be able to clear a 285 tire with this setup, thoughts?
