Awesome! The Milgaus with green sapphire crystal is on my list of pieces to buy. This watch has quite a history.

Your watch tells hours, minutes, seconds and nothing more. So fact of the matter is that it ONLY tells you the time. I don't care if it's a work of art as that's not what I'm talking about. All it can do is tell you what time it is.

I still think it's a beautiful watch either way.

    Who cares.

He wants to show off a watch. It keeps time. That's what watches do. It isn't a smart watch or a phone, it's a watch. A time piece.

If it costs $2 or $200k who the hell cares. Maybe I skipped over the part where he said "this Rolex is more useful than anything else that displays time."

He said "here is a treat to myself, a watch, as an early retirement gift." That's it.

Jesus fucking fuck. Go compare it to your Android or iPhone in your own thread if you can't see out of your ass enough to read the words on the screen.

Good for you for treating yourself, we all need to do this from time to time.

Really good looking watch. I'm not into wearing watches myself, just has never been my thing. Wife bought me a pretty nice one early on in our marriage and I have only worn it about 4 times.

And your truck hauls stuff and can get from point A to B and nothing more.

So why didnt you buy a Ranger instead of a Taco? Lemme guess, more reliable, more longevity, better styling/looks, better workmanship, higher resale...shall I go on? [smh]

Very nice watch, OP. I love watches. I don't, yet, have a Rolex. I have a Tag Aquaracer and a Tag Kirium Auto. I love them both and they are excellent watches.
