    Question for everyone regarding the TrueCar quotes. You have to enter your zip code to get quotes from local dealers. Has anyone also put a zip code about 2 hours away to see if you get different quotes?

    Yup. I didn't go that far but I kept changing the zip code to cities further and further out until I got the best price. 2400 off msrp was the best I could find

    I used zip 15090 (north hills) and it was about 20 miles away. So it could be anywhere from butler to near the airport haha

    Dealer in LA area just told me that a TRD Off Road DC V6 Auto has to have the premium/tech package. I don't want it but they're telling me in my region they are configured with premium and tech, that you CANT get it without it. Is there any validity to that claim?

    Toyota may have set their region to only get that truck, but that does not mean the dealer can't trade one of their allocated vehicles for one from outside their region. If they want your business, this is what they will do

    They can also do what we call a BOS change. When the vehicle is still allocated to be produced we can submit a bos Change and it a 80% chance the change will accept. You can't change the model build but you can change the package build.

    Just picked up my 2016 Tacoma Access cab. Which seem hard top find. Then with TRD sport and loaded. Premium audio.

    100 miles so far and love it! Traded my 2011 with 78k received 18,250 trade.
