    Nope.

    Don't be a wuss. Bang the limiter just to see what it feels like. It's still a few hundred RPM under risk mode. Won't hurt a thing.

    However, just know the limiter does not work on a downshift. So you CAN over rev by making an incorrect gear selection. You could get lucky and not hurt anything. Or maybe you will.

    The 2TR pulls pretty well in all its RPM range. Sometimes I forget I'm near redline because it's still pulling hard. My old vehicle had a V6 and despite a bigger engine, you could tell you were past 4k rpm.

    Fuck I bounce off the limiter with my blower when hammering on it daily. I think I've blown up my engine for sure, so that being the case it's time to get a 2016.

    The 2tr-fe is a perfectly square engine. It doesn't mind revving. I mean it's no S2000, but I think it can take 5K runs all day.
