The lack of choices in Canada is very disappointing.

I want a DCSB 4x4 V6 M/T and that only gives me ONE choice! The TRD Sport.

The 2 options I really want are:
    DCSB 4x4 V6 M/T TRD Off Road
    or
    DCSB 4x4 V6 M/T SR

If my 6 year old son could be safe and comfortable in an Access Cab the nicest option that is actually available is the:
AccessCab 4x4 V6 M/T TRD Off Road in Quicksand color.

Since this thread has made a bit of a come back over the Canadian Price thread, I'll post mine here too. Have had it since Wednesday now and still absolutely loving it. Already wanting a lift though, modifying vehicles is addicting :anonymous::help:

Mine is a 4x4 TRD Sport Upgrade with a 6 speed manual transmission. Paid $43,414.08 out the door. Spent $800 on new winter shoes (Hankook RW11) yesterday as well.

As I said in the other thread, I'm very impressed with the Canadian spec and what's included with our trucks compared to the states (mud flaps, LED tail and daytime running lights, 2 sets of floor mats, tow package, D-rings, bed cleats, probably more). They can't get a manual transmission down there with the upgrade package (moon roof) like mine either.:canada:

I guess some packaging unique to Canada is nice.. Never the less, I would love to see double cab(long or short) off road package here. Just why is it that we don't have that here?

I would have bought that if we did as well... My guess is just not enough demand (or so Toyota thinks anyway).

I an totally clueless what the actual demands would be for each configurations in Canada, but looking at Tacomaworld.com by itself, most TRD owners here (most are Americans apparently) seem to own the double cab off-road vs. the sport.

Anyways, your truck looks awesome. Congratulations!!!

    Biens,

    Your outta control!

Nice job on the upgrades, have you got the back seat set up for the hound yet?

Set up somewhat for now. Just bought a black queen size fitted sheet and tucked it in all nice without the head rests, works quite well actually.

I like the look of these though http://www.weathertech.com/seat-protectors/

There is thread somewhere on TW where it shows removable platforms that folks are making to put over the back seat for the hound after they fold down the seat, some of them look sweet.

Thought my Limited would be here today, but looks like Monday now, saw a bunch heading north on the inland highway today coming back from Horne Lake...

I'm actually happy about the choices in Canada.... selfishly. My spouse wanted me to get the DC, but I wanted a long box, and prefer the AC, and I wanted a manual... so the only choice for me was the ACLB! Woohoo! Now I need to decide when to buy.
