Yay finally got around to fixing my Dakar's squeaking! Used the zip tie method so ill have to see how long it stands up.

But im pretty sure my 20" rigid lightbar is dead. Not sure when/where/or how but i cant seem to get it to turn on. Fuse isnt blown, and the switch in the cab seems to be sending power. Tried direct hooking it up to the battery and still didnt light up. Any ideas?

Also realized the flip up liscence plate holder i got wont work. Got it so the hidden hitch could be used. But like a dumbass i didnt notice the mounting portion was solid. Going ot have to figure out a way to mount it "backwards" if i can.

    How old is it? Warranty?

If it's not under warranty I'd triple check power and ground going to the light. Once you're 100% sure it isn't faulty wiring open it up and see what's inside. Maybe a burnt up soldering connection. Post up pictures I've never seen the inside of one.

I wont take it apart. Its got a limited life time warranty so id send it in. Reading through the warranty it says to not not take it apart so dont want to risk it lol. Its only a year and a half old.

just tried again with direct hooking it up to the battery (no relay or switches literally + wire to light bar and Neg to ground) with no luck.

Now why would I go and do some dumb shit like that? Lol

In all honesty, I don't think they offer them for my vehicle. And I think they look hideous and would never run them regardless of if they're perhaps a better product.

For serious though, you guys should talk to Chas, TotalAutomotiveLV on T4R.org if you need ICON stuff. The deal he gave me cannot be talked about, but they were shipped to my door for less than camburgs.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
They were kicked off this site for being shady in their dealings. Lying to members, not giving what was promised and just general bad business practices.

Was that all from the group buy they did? I remember reading some issues with the freebies and raffle if i remember right. Thought everyone got their actual orders though.

I never had a problem with Chas though. But i only ordered like two things from them

what are the odds that when a wheel bearing goes bad and comes uncunted the wheel will come off?

Just curious as I'm about half way to republic to go hunting. I'm driving through pateros ATM and am feeling/hearing what seems to be my front right wheel bearing groaning....

No way a failed wheel bearing should cause a wheel to leave the party. It can get bad enough to hurt the spindle though, if the race begins to turn on it instead of the bearing cone turning on the race, but that would be a severe grinding sound.
