I have a 2013 cts awd....it's pretty awesome...but im about to get rid of it and get a taco or 4r....the caddy does't work with my family and lifestyle....we have a seinna awd, but that can't handle everything i need it too ;) i would recommend the caddy over bmw. mercedes, audi

Cool cool, I did the BMW and Taco then BMW & T4R. It (the T4R) was my fist SUV but, damn man I couldn't be happier with it. At the time I needed an SUV but, within a few months, that need unexpectedly changed and I'm still happy with it. I'm pretty much thinking it will be my ride until the next gen T4R comes out assuming it remains body on frame (do you hear us Toyota?).

Think of the sport model as an off road with breast implants. You pay a little more for a woman with them, they're hard to take your eyes off of, but mostly useless. The sport can't work as hard in the rough stuff, but is better in the curves. Sorry for getting off topic, brb.

The DCSBTRDOR looks great with the black wheel accents, black fender flares, black front bumper lower "chin".
    Very rugged.
I like it in Silver. White. And Sand.

The Sport is nice as well. But I prefer the OR gen3.

Spirt suspension is Hitachi, the drill manufacturer. Off road suspension is Bilstein, the strut manufacturer

True, its electronic. Works a treat on ice while the Rubicons and other lockers slide off the side of the road the Subarus, Audis and TRD Sports blast right past them toward the ski hills

It doesn't matter which one you buy because you're now on TacomaWorld and you are going to completely change the vehicle anyway.

    You're welcome.

I picked sport #1 body colored bumpers looks sooo much better IMO .#2 I ll never do any hardcore offroad driving. It's my daily driver . Scoop looks good to me shame its fake. If I keep it ill probably put a locker in it when it's out of warranty .

are you saying the Sport diff is better than the Off-Road diff for snow/ice as opposed to crawling (where the Off-Road obviously is King)?

The OR has color keyed bumpers too if you get the prem/tech package but I actually prefer the look of the chrome as it breaks up the colors on the truck a bit more.

Do you plan on rock crawling in a 40k truck because I sure as fuck don't intend to. I'm going to put a 3 inch lift on mine with some 33 inch tires and a skid plate for protection for medium to light off roading. I have a dirt bike for the crazy stuff. Why ruin a vehicle sport all the way.

Thanks TW, I'm going with the TRD OR DC M/T in Black. Just wasn't feeling that hood Scoop. I know it looks sporty but I wanted the more sleek look without the rise of the Scoop.

When not using the locker or MTS the OR has the same TRAC system as the sport...

Bingo!! I have an 87 Wrangler for crawling and an RZR 900 and a gen2 4X4 Sport for that matter. I got the Sport because I will never use any kind of crawl control in a 40K truck. This baby is a pavement queen. I like the ride of the Sport....feels brisk and responsive on the pavement

Bingo indeed. Most of the local jeep roads (Alpine Loop, Black Bear, Ophir, Cinnamon, etc) can be driven with any Taco 4x4, they have ALL been driven by VW Baja Bugs and most are driven all Summer by Suburbans. If it gets more difficult than those, then I'm happier on my moto. My DCSB has about 10" more wheelbase and overall length than my last pickup (Dodge 1500 std cab SB), so it isn't in the same use category
