I read somewhere that the Oakland Raiderettes sued the Raiders because of all the stuff they had to do and little pay they were getting, and they won

If someone offers you a job for x amount of dollars and you think it's not enough, you decline the offer of the job. Simple. If you take the job, then you are saying that x amount of dollars for that job is acceptable. Case closed.

Sounds like Koenen got his malady from some bottled water health drink. Doesn't sound related to the infections.

I just don't buy into "performance water". It seems like a modern day snake oil with a new one hitting the market every week touting cures from A to Z.

    It's nothing new.

Gatorade is water and salt and some other sugary flavor shit in it.

'Performance water' is the same basic thing. Water and some trace shit mixed in and price cranked 10000%.

By the greedy for the retarded to piss money away on.

I used to love the lemon-lime Gatorade. Don't drink the stuff anymore. Full of SUGAR. When I was in the desert in the ME, we were told if you drink that stuff that you need to cut by 50%. Drink too much of the uncut stuff and it'll give you kidney stones. You'd have to drink a lot for that to happen, though. And for an extended period. But is Gatorade considered a 'Performance' drink? I thought it was touted as a way to replace lost electrolytes.

Gatorade Ingredients: Water, sugar, dextrose, citric acid, flavoring, salt, sodium citrate and monopotassium phosphate are the core ingredients common in each flavor. Other ingredients, such as Yellow 5, Red 40, Yellow 6 and Blue 1, dictate the drink's color, while individual flavors have assorted other ingredients.

Over on Fark, where I spent most of my NFL live BSing time, those things are the current cause du jour for hatred.

We're collectively happy as pigs in shit over what Nevada finally did last week. Now if we could only get the rest of the country on board

I don't play it myself at all. Closest I come is a Pick 'Em league where you pick game winners each week.

Until FF lets you pick the WHOLE team and score appropriately, I'm just not interested.

No, like... I want Pat McAfee as my punter, I want Dwayne Harris as my KR guy, and I want Harrison as my strong safety but Woodson as my free safety, etc.

NOT just "The Denver defense" or such.

Oh okay, you just want to be able to pick a defense as well. Fair enough but it would be weird since the defense plays more as a unit, I think the pick a defense works better for a points system myself

    *shrug*

    To each their own.

To me, as a former defensive (mostly) player, I'd rather make a defensive unit based on my upcoming opponent. Green Bay coming to town? You want a 4-3 with attacking DLinemen that can contain the edge run AND get to the passer with just the front 4...a'la Cincy, Buffalo, St Louis, etc

Brady and the Cheatriots coming to town? You want a 4-3 with fast linebackers and cover guys....think Arizona or Seattle.

Rush heavy team coming to play you? Seattle, Arizona, Minnesota, Carolina, etc? That's beggin' for a 3-4 with a stout middle and fast LBs, say Green Bay or the J E S T or even Buffalo's 4-3 in a pinch.
