Nice grill! Looking for one myself for my '15.

Any reason you went for the mesh instead of their billet? Just personal preference?

Also, how was install?

 

heading to the truck outfitters. get some tailgate seal, dont want any water coming in on my new bedrug.

 

I took mine off the truck and used a cardboard box. Cut the top and long side off the box and work in the box. The tabs make the emblem stand up so it gets better coverage. I did 4 coats and turned the emblem 1/4 turn each time. That help hit all the angles. I found that moving the can slower is better than faster.

 

This looks bad ass!

 

Did you do the lower grill?

Someone tried breaking my Plano box mounted on my prinsu cabrac the same night I was debating on whether to take it down or not. I took it off this morning. Now I'm shopping for weapons .

Locker Down or Console Vault is my next mod. Looks like a tight fit for your handgun. Is it in a holster???

Finally saw a 2016 in person so I decided to test drive a few 2016's this morning

 

Installed Rokblokz oversized rally mud flaps. They mount in the front with brackets, providing more wheel clearance. They solved my rubbing because of my wheel offset, but I didn't need a CMC. These are the regular legnth. They offer a shorter version as well.

 

I have a Console Vault. Can't put a full frame pistol in there. Only compacts like my S&W Shield. I have to remove my holster since I use a Crossbreed.

 

And...?

 

Swapped out both my license plate lights...one was only working intermittently and would come on if I tapped the housing...really need to bite the bullet and order LEDs.

I think the new interior is great. When sitting in the front seat first thing I noticed was more knee room this comes from the new design of the dash. It also feels like there is a little more leg room. New seats look great with the colored sticking. The new instrument cluster looks and works good. I looked at a sr5 4 cylinder and a base model v6 both access cabs both were automatic they didn't have a 4 door or TRD . I am currently driving a 2015 v6 manual TRD off road access cab. So I was not able to put an exact match up against my truck. But looks wise is all personal opinion. I want to try the new 6 speed manual trans. But I plan on keeping my 2015 for years to come.
