im trying to find out what bulb I need to replace the low fuel warning light?

I took my cluster out about 6 times already trying different bulbs and bulb types to get just the right stock look but in blue but now "after all that" I noticed the amber light for low on fuel can barely be seen in daytime of there is any sunshine in the cab so I need to change it to red for better visibility.

so that said, who knows for certain what size and type of bulb do I need for that?

    thanks for your help

c'mon guys, nobody has the bulb size for that?

I don't want to pull the cluster to find out then have to reinstall and do it all over again when I get the bulb

I don't know, its not the 4 main big bulbs we change for a different colored dash, these are the warning light bulbs and I never paid any attention to them before but I will assume they are some form of twisty bulb socket similar to the 194 bulbs were but I don't know for sure if they are 194 or some other size. I assume they will be smaller bulbs since they only light up a small image

    98-00 are different than 01-04.

    Just a friendly reminder.

Dashes and bulbs are the same as far as that goes. Not sure of the size as I never changed them but I'd imagine the neo wedge 74s would be it

I think those two are mixed up. Mine has the grey one on top. I looked to see if they are the same but the black one is smaller .it fits in there but not right.
The # on the grey one is A14V3W, the black one is tsd 74
The bulbs I had to replace, I had to get them from the dealer and they cost way to muchimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

I thought I remember the bulbs/sizes being different when I was first reading about changing the bulbs awhile back.

The 4 that light up the cluster should be the same through the years, and as far as I'm aware the little black ones are a neo wedge 74 if you want an LED same as the 00s AC, glovebox, gear shifter, and key ring. The guy two posts above did say the gray plugs in his picture were a different size so there's no telling

Is that out of the car currently? Just pull the bulb holders and take a pic, easy to tell then.

well, best I can do is go with the consensus and that's the #74 so I ordered two of those to change both of them so the check engine will be red as well

I just got a note they are coming from china and may take 20-40 days to arrive :frusty::frusty::frusty: oh well, guess it will be thanksgiving before they show up :turtleride:
