Curious to see what all you are doing to build the rear axle and how much it will cost. I've been trying to figure out the best bang for the buck before I pull the trigger on anything.

This is cheaper than a 'race' style floater hub, but still not the cheapest way to go lol. There are cheaper housing alternatives than Camburg, 31 spline instead of 35, and flanged axles instead of these hubs. I got deals via forum discounts from sponsors, Labor Day sales, buying the locker used on ebay, etc. but it's still a pretty penny and it's only getting bigger.

That being said, from research and experience and as long as everything is assembled properly, I shouldn't have any problems. That's exactly what I want.

    Wasn't planning on it.

Got these in today from Dez at Nexgen Offroad. 6 1.25" heims, bungs, and misalignments. Also got residual valves for my brakes.

I have been thinking of a budget 9" for 2016. Care to share what you have into the set-up?

    The housing alone is 1k...

I have about 6 into my nodular case and 35 spline Detroit locker off ebay.
450 for gears, set up kit, other misc. stuff.
750 for d60 hubs and pockets.
Still need brakes, axles, drive slugs, and labor to assemble it all.

Thanks for making me add it up.

Carlos at Camburg got me taken care of. Dropped off my housing and he got me squared away with upper 4 link tabs. Also got 2.5" wide uniball cups needed for the front of my links.

Besides your brakes what else is wrong with that axle? Axle seal?

Probably. I think the housing may be bent, the seal blew way too fast IMO.

And got these from Kellan at Envy Motorsports

Nope, started his own company. Can get any shocks, wheels, tires, or anything to build a truck. Best thing is, the company is based in Utah, so there's no sales tax.

I haven't gotten it in yet. I'm still trying to pick up a few more pieces, including the bar the dash is mounted to. Waiting on another member who is parting out a donor truck, but I don't know when/if parts are getting pulled off it. Might hit up cal mini one day to just buy one through them. Hopefully getting the dash in when it gets linked.
