I am waiting on the same truck is that a short bed its hard to tell from the angle of the photo? Do you have any other photos I could see of her? Also what size are those tires you put on and where did you purchase yours I am looking at the KO2's to get put on by the dealership when mine arrives.

It's a DCSB. Tires are 265/75/16 but they are original KO not KO2. Couldn't pass up the deal I found on them. I have pics in other posts.....don't want to clutter up Mike's thread - pm me if you want anything specific.

@Mike330R How much is your digital speedo off from the analog one? I notice once I get up to higher speeds it shows it's off a little. At 40-60 they're the same. At 70 mph on the digital the analog will read 68-69.

@ashrr213 I have the same issue. I had the same thing with my '13 taco, when I had my gps running the speed on the GPS was always slower than the speedo by around 1-2 mph.

I've had the opposite on my '12 and now '16 both running stock 265/70R16s with the speedometer on the '12 reading 3-5mph slower than GPS and those little radar signs. My 16 is about 1-2MPH slower than GPS speed also noticed how the analog and digital gauges seem to separate as speed increases as mentioned above. At 75 on the analog gauge, I was getting about 77 with the digital and GPS. Also seems that the odometer may be about 2% low. Trip meter showed 19.6 miles after 20 mile markers.

That's odd. I'm not on stock wheels either 265/75/R16. Haven't tested it with my gps. I don't really mind if the speedo is off. Just a little annoying the the digital and the analog don't match at highways speeds.

Playing with the crawl control. I'm really impressed and will be using a lot as it make the ride a lot smoother and little wheel spin on the steeps. Will be taking to a more technical trail this weekend.

I can't wait to put crawl control to use. Seems like it can be very useful in certain situations.

As far as the speedo being off, I may bring it up next time I swing by the dealership. More of a minor inconvenience than anything...

Toyota will always make a speedometer real faster rather than slower. If the truck ever tells you a speed that is lower than what you are doing, there is a liability to Toyota if a crash ensues due to excessive speed.

I get that. Just didn't know if the reason the two speedometers differed were because I got the bigger tires or if it would've been that way with stock size.

The rollout of the bigger tires makes you go faster than what the speedometer says. If there was a difference with stock tires, the difference is worse with the bigger tires.

Is your 2014 running stock size tires and still off?

Took it up to slaughterhouse gulch and tested the crawl control on one of the steep hills. Worked awesome. Tackled up and down like it was nothing.
