Still Icons' but 700's. Ordered them direct from Icon

Yeah, didn't notice the shiny coils until afterwards

I'm sitting in the chemistry building at UH, crying into a bucket

eyes are too swolen to see properly

 

I know it's too late to know now, but did you happen to have a thread measurement with the 650# coils? looks like you had um cranked pretty high

 

It's for the engine knocking problem servco said that my truck ain't on the list and if I didn't get a letter in the mail it's a no go then after she checks my info on her computer says you have full coverage warranty but you still might have to pay for time if they find nothing wrong and then tells me the earliest appt we got is next month on the 10th

I had about 2 1/2" of top thread with the 650's...way too much! Now...just over an inch and a lot more coil to make my truck happy...

I'm approx 22 1/2" center hub to fender edge up front with them set now. A very slight rake, but they need a few weeks to settle before I decide to adjust them again.

I just printed out the TSB to give them and told them it was making the noise (which it was). They did the work for free...

So was it fixed any noise now going up hill just gonna have them check it

 

I haven't noticed any sounds anymore as far as the dieseling that I had going slow up-hill. It's perfect now... Have you tried going up a steep incline at a slow rate of speed? That's a good place to check for the sound. And when I say incline...I mean a decent incline... Try Makiki tantalus or up behind Kaimuki on those steep ass roads going up hill. At a complete stop and then slowly accelerate going and you would hear the knocking sound. You might not have it!

My tach leds started to flicker. Anyway to fix it or jus gotah swap it out?

Yeah can but probbaly won't be till middle of November that I'll be available.

 

At least miles doesn't have things to install on my truck... lol
