Initial Test Drive, terrible, terrible, and terrible.

I went to Toyota Pasadena today with my wife. We looked online and they had 2 DCSB OR 4x2. They let us test drive a model in Silver. We told them we were waiting to find a DCLB OR 4x4 so they took all of our information and let us drive the truck.

Everything was terrrible:

The seats are soft and cushy. That is terrible.
The steering wheel tilted AND Telescoped. That is terrible.
When I stepped on the gas pedal, the transmission down shifted and allowed the engine to climb in RPMs. That is terrible.
The truck now comes with Kevlar Wrangles instead of Rugged Fails. That is terrible.
The utility bed lights are LEDs and have a switch for off, door, and on. That is terrible.
The steering wheel is wrapped in leather. That is terrible.
There is a wireless charging pad and a gopro mount. That is terrible.
It was extremely quiet inside the cab. That is terrible.
It has an ECT button. That is terrible.
My wife had plenty of room in the back seat during the test drive. She said the seats felt nice and comfortable. That is terrible.
There is a big two pass tranny cooler that comes with the tow package. Terrible.
There is a nice, metal front skid plate. So terrible.

Wait, guys. Why am I saying all of that is terrible? I must be reading too much hate on the Tacoma here on TW. I believed that all of those things were terrible when I actually liked them. You guys have ruined me.

That's funny. My F-250 driving friend sat in mine and said "Yep, same hard-ass toyota seats as my mom's 2011 tacoma"

This subforum sucks when you think about it. Either people make posts about their new Tacoma, because we need to see every single Tacoma sold in the US via its own thread or people hate the 3rd gen and express their hate for it. The latter doesn't even belong here, just don't buy it and move on.
