Alright so im going to get a pro comp 3" lift kit for my tacoma but i would like to lift it around 1 more inch in the front though. Could i just use pro comp 3" springs and put the bilstein 5100 in them and set it at a 1" setting to give me that 1 extra inch of lift? If not what are some options to achieve this goal. I dont want to spend a ton of money either

Man, that's too bad. 4" lifts are easy for 2wd. Anyways, I'm pretty sure you are not supposed to do what you're talking about. I don't know exactly how bad it would be for your truck but I know you are supposed to keep the billies at 0" for longer coils. If you want to go above 3 inches I think you need a drop bracket lift which is quite permanent and not cheap.

Could i still use the pro comp springs and use the bilstein 5100 and just keep it at 0" for better ride quality cause ive heard the pro comp lift isnt the best quality

I'm not sure if that combination is compatible...if it is then yes, you will want to keep the bilsteins at the lowest setting. I have OME coils on my 5100s for about 3 inches of lift and the ride is great.

What kind of lift do you have for the rear?
