That is my understanding, yes. Is that wrong? Can you paint plastic body panels without having them look like shit?

Hrm, well then I stand corrected and apologize for being wrong. I could have sworn I read about paint issues w/ the plastic parts of the early Aztecs and Escalades.

added running boards, 16" beadlock wheels. bfgoodrich ko2. 265/75/16. no rubbing at all. drives straight, quiet smooth ride. 60+ you feel the road more then oem tires but barely.

thank you! yes, it does stick out farther then tires but not much. i feel like its perfect size, i was actually worried it wasn't gonna stick out enough looking at the toyota site. very happy i went with those instead of step boards.

it gets very close but does not touch.

    I am coming from a Volvo XC60 T6 R Design with a 3.5 liter turbo 300 hp/325 lb ft. Torque.

I absolutely love everything about this truck. It doesn't accelerate like a rocket ship but it does accelerate like a pick up and I'm more than happy with that. I owned a lifted 4runner becore the volvo and it feels good to be up off the ground again. Steering is tight. Sound system (premium) is great. I'm 6'2" and feel like I have plenty of head room. I will admit it'd be nice to have the capability to lower the seat but I'm comfortable after playing with the seat adjustments. So far so good! Happy Taco owner!

yes. it is the sr. i like it with no chrome trimming. has power locks but not keyless entry. hoping the viper system will be able to give me that. the only thing that bugs me about SR is me not being able to get fig lights yet.

i personally like buying base and adding things on to it. makes it more fun, see the transformation.
