    I hear ya, I played a little wideout but 7 years of corner back has got me a die hard defensemen. Offense is alright but there's nothing better than hitting a guy and just being physical all game.

    Only thing about what you said is it would be hard to have a fantasy version of that. Since fantasy football is match up based you couldn't change defensive players according to what team they're playing. That is to say you couldn't select to use a 3-4 defense and certain players because those players won't all be playing the same team. Can't pick JJ Watt and Clay Mathews if the Patriots are playing the Colts right? Whereas normal FF works because you select let's say Julio Jones who's playing one team and Tom Brady who's playing a different team and they can score points for you "team" that you've created.

    Only way FF could let you pick defensive players would be if you picked let's say again JJ Watt and Clay Mathews and Watt had 3 sacks for let's say 3 points/sack and 0.1 points for how many yards the offense lost on that sack and then Mathews got a 32 yard pick-6 at 0.1 points per yard, 6 points for the TD, and I let's say 5 points for a pick.

    I played in a league that allowed you to pick one DL (included LBs) and one DB. And one special teams. You got points for special teams, and whatever the individual player did.

    I think special teams would be sweet, that is just a returner. Yards for returns and the possibility for a TD return.

    Exactly. It was a nice way to have it. So if you had the TEAM and the player and he scored a return touchdown, you racked up points.

    The defender was nice too. You got points for pass break ups, sacks, tackles, tfls, assisted tackles, etc... It was a great way to do it, but took more time picking your D players.

    Man my Broncos squeaked out a win. Thomas was letting Manning down on a few key catches. In fact, I think Manning still looks good when Kubiak gives him the reigns to clutch the game; that one soft pass at the end for a pick was brutal but if Thomas hadn't dropped it before Manning wouldn't have thrown that pass.... running game was way better too even if it was against the Browns
