I've never been on a run before. Where is this located, how many days is the ride, and about how much does a trip cost. I'm located a couple hours West of Redding, CA.

Welcome to the boards! Hope you can make the run.

Looks like we might have enough to take a shot at Hell Hole on the 1st weekend of November (7th-8th). Waiting on a couple responses before I update the OP and we make everything official.

Stay tuned - we'll be making a trip for sure on the 7th-8th but still seeing if we have enough for hell hole or not. I'll let you know asap. Sorry for the limbo I just don't want to make anything official until it's certain

Bjmoose, you'll enjoy it. I swear I lost some weight wheeling that trail. Was hungry/tired like as if I ran a marathon after, lol. I'm kinda thinking of skipping my pismo trip and do this instead but lack a lift and memories from last run worry me just a bit, lol.

Would it be OK if my dad who lives in Auburn and an old resident of Georgetown named Gordon came along (in a minivan) from Auburn just to the trailhead? Then they'd wave us off and go hang out at Uncle Tom's Cabin for a canned beer before heading back home to Auburn.
