    Just a few LEDs...
    Mine were also great for a year and a half, then they fizzled out. I can get a new set for free but I'm not sure I would even bother with it especially if I don't plan to re-install them.

    As far as LEDs go, I think I'll just concentrate on the amber ones that I have everywhere else. I'll be adding more soon. :D

    Just a few LEDs...
    I just took out some of the older strips behind the grill. I had some that came from VLEDs that were crap. They were not as bright as the ones I got from Autozone and got brittle and cracked after a year or so. I swear by the "Apena" brand that Autozone sells. They have a "Max" series that is advertised as having 80% more light than the lower powered ones they make.

    I'll eventually put some white strips in the bed and might even put some amber strips under the tube steps I have since they already have a nice aluminum channel I can mount them in. After that, who knows, maybe I'll do the wheel wells. I have a whole bunch of ideas for the interior as well. :D

    Well there any other LED bulbs that happened to be much better?

    I have HID's now and I'm sick of them. I really like the idea of HID's

    I've read through that post before but I like the super bright Pure white the LED's and HID's give off.

    Look at the Philips LED kit that is actually properly designed. Not nearly as bright in lumens as the 85w halogens, but are cosmetically whiter if that is what you want.
