We got a few flakes here this afternoon. Temps were in the 20's overnight last night. Bummer, bicycle season is coming to a close.

PEOPLE HAVE LOST THEIR DAMN MINDS!!!! :goingcrazy:

Examples of the "fine" drivers I encountered this weekend....
Semi truck passed me going at least 15 over the limit ON A DOUBLE YELLOW. I got his license and his dot number so I'll be making a call tomorrow....
Had to pull over twice to let tailgaters around me (two lane road, lots of curves, I was doing the limit)
Got passed by a Subie in a 55 zone. Just curious I sped up to pace him and got up to 70.....wonder what a 15 over ticket is these days
Pulled off the road to a picnic area to use the bathroom, signaled my turn and slowed down. Then nearly got clipped by the guy behind me as he didn't slow down or move over to let me turn.
Came around the corner to find a herd of bighorn sheep in the road - hit the brakes. Nearly got hit from behind again because the moron didn't apparently see the sheep or my brake lights. A nice long blast of the horn finally snapped him to attention.

    WTF is wrong with people!?!?!?

You're only figuring that out now? Idiots are always doing something other than paying attention. and the speed demons are everywhere.

no....just seemed like I couldn't get away from them this weekend, every road....filled with idiots and not a highway patrol or sheriff vehicle in site....

How was your weekend? I'm just wine-:pccoffee: to calm my nerves while I wait for my tent to dry. Started to rain at 2am and my tent is soaked clean through. Got it set up now and only an hour of daylight left...wonder if it will dry...

I'm going to wait until tomorrow - I want to have a chance to talk to somebody in charge, not some weekend shift flunkie
The state recently bumped the speed limit on the INTERSTATES from 75 to 80 but apparently everyone seems to think that applies to all roads in the state. The road I was on - hwy 191 between Bozeman and West yellowstone - has a pretty deadly reputation, lots of fatal accidents over the years. Its narrow, curvy, lots of scenery so lots of distracted drivers, and lots of animals. yet everyone still feels that the 60 or 55 limit is unnecessary and I never see anyone patrolling the area. Unfortunately its my shortest route to/from the park...

Hows life in FL? Better winters than the NE states I imagine.

    afternoon....

:angrygirl: story sounds like where I have to turn to get home. I put my blinker on well in advance of where I have to turn, and even with just me and ONE car behind me, where he could get in the other lane and go around, the IDIOT stays behind me when I slow down to turn  Some times I slow down to almost 0 mph just to get the idiot to realize he could have gone around and not had to slow down at all  But no, I HAVE to stay in the left lane!!! If I move over, some one might fly up and take my space

    It's like a virus!

He was in town a bit ago and was telling me that was going to be his next vehicle. The Tacoma chewed up a ring and pinion and stepped up his time frame a bit.

2015 Trail Premium. He's going to replace the spacer lift and 18" wheels.
