Just a posting I guess. was a member a while back but had to re-register.

My heater has had decreasing output foe years. Also only one fan speed, so I got in to it today after fan started to vibrate.

RE-soldered the resister, thanks to info on the forum. Wonderful info!

Started poking around and find why heater flow had been low......

How do the little buggers get in there? Backwards from Floor?

    Gordon

Yeah, that will do it. I have found mouse nests in a couple of my vehicles over the years. Also, I have an Airstream Camper and it is a constant battle to keep them out of there. Since September I have caught close to 20. At first it was 1 or 2 a night but now its 1 every couple of days or so. Just have to stay vigilant on setting those traps.

Always keep your climate control on recirculate when you're not in the car. This closes the flap where the fresh air and mice come in. If the controls are electronic (not manual cables), then switch to recirculate before turning the engine off.
