Is Texaco owned by Chevron? I have one of those in town too.

 

I get the best mpg with Exxon, but I will fill up with damn near anything if I need it. Gas is gas.

 

I would just stick to one of these while Chevron is being remodeled.

Surprisingly enough for our area all gasoline comes from the same place except for Chevron, they have their own pipe. What makes the brand is the additives package they put in once it gets up here.

Although, I stay away from Costco & BJ's gas. My 96 tacoma used to ping like crazy on that stuff. WaWa, Turkey Hill....whatever.

no matter what station you go to
i usually go where ever is closest and cheapest

 

All the gas is the same. What differentiates 1 brand from the other is value add like the detergents they put it in or 10% ethanol or what ever "ice guard", "economax" BS they put in it, its gas.

As long as there is no water in it just pump what ever is closest. I have been doing that for 20 years and never had any issue.

 

I use nothing but Shell.

 

Eh I just use what ever... Wawa Fuel works for me. Im not driving a Drag Car that needs super high Octane.

 

Your engine doesn't care as long as its gas. I've filled up with whatever's handy for the whole 15-16 years I've been driving. No problems.

 

Costco? Really? I've never had a prob or know anyone that has had a prob with their gas. Anyone else? I get gas from there all the time!

 

I'll I use is shell but iam not going to go 25mi out of my way to fill up. Just use some other quality gas.
