Hunted all weekend. Got one in the freezer. Nothing like bow hunting in GA when it gets cool

    I need some advice:
Headed to Alabama next weekend for the Talladega races. Camping on top of Cheaha Mountain. Night time lows in mid-50s (at base of mountain), 58-74% humidity. I'm not sure what the wind will be like at high (ha!) altitude (2k+ feet). I have a 40 degree sleeping bag, a Coleman Hooligan 9x7 tent with a vestibule for cooler & supplies, tarp, headlamp, spare batteries, magnesium fire starter, zippo lighter, Swiss Army knife, coffee thermos, self-inflating sleeping mats. The extent of my camping has been on the farm for overnight hunting or backyard camping. What else do I need to be prepared for this trip?

Yeah. I doubt a 4yo would get much sleep at the track. Plus, I always try to include some nature time in our weekend treks. I try to balance out the messages of over-consumption, blatant marketing and capitalism with some environmentalism and appreciation for natural things.

When I was a kid we would go muddin' at Reed Bingham or hit the sand dunes outside of Albany. Both are quite arrive for you. There's probatgood stuff across the river.
